Anyone who cares to know has surely seen by now that, shortly after my props to the Rays, the team imploded and gave up eight unanswered runs to lose 8-7 to the BoSox. Lesson learned by yours truly. I shall henceforth keep any praise to myself until all outcomes are final.
On a separate but related note, I'm now feeling uneasy about the praise I heaped on the Titans two Sundays ago. Will my jinx continue??! :-O

Boy, I was really looking forward to everyone up here in the Commonwealth walking around in misery. If my team can't win, I relish the thought of everyone else in the area being even more miserable than me.
It was so much fun after the Super Bowl that I wanted to relive it again. Then you jinxed them. Thanks a lot.

AND...unlike so many of the NFL counterparts who have succumbed to weaker opponents, the Titans held strong despite my props. All's well in the sports world for this weekend. :-)
